ZAM 1 Dayer

Update:

Dickens Cider will be supporting this event by providing ALL COMPETITORS with a 473ml can of their Dickens Cider energy drink.

#Snatch.au and #clubdice have came together to organise and run a small 8 team, 1 day comp at ZAM because we’re awesome. Details as follows:

Where: Zone Adrenalan Melbourne
When: Saturday, 8th December
Time: 10am till ~6pm (half the teams will have a later start at around 1pm)
Format: 8 teams, 2 groups of 4, followed by a best-of-3 single elimination with the top 2 teams from each group.
Cost: $100 per team ($20 per player).

To rego simply PM me on esau with your team name, mirc channel, lineup, phone number

The bottom 4 teams will get a guaranteed 3 games of play, and the top 4 will get around 5-9 games-ish. So for $20 it’s decent value for money.

Distribution:
+$800 Registration
-$250 ZAM Rental
-$250 for 1st
-$100 for 2nd

Prize Pool: $350*
~ $250 for 1st
~ $100 for 2nd

*We are considering taking a portion of the money from this competition and future competitions that will go towards funding teams who qualify and accept the invite to go to nationals. More detailed information on this coming soon.

If we do not do this, there’ll be an extra couple hundred for the prizes but this is all TBA

The above seeds will be RANDOMLY assorted in to 2 different groups (each group having a 1, 2, 3 and 4 seed), with the exception that dice/snatch will be in different groups due to admining reasons.

    just throw team names up in the air and catch them one at a time and put them into the groups. SIMPLE and random enough, but if more than one name hits the floor you re-do it til you get it

    we could always go oldschool and bring back knifing for sides? knife rounds are heaps of fun and require tactical genious and strategical planning on a whole new level

    actually had dickens cider @ zam yesterday… pretty decent and the size of the can is LARGE so value for money.
