I found out yesterday that the 2nd leg of the VA comp was postponed till the 27th - exactly two weeks from the original date the 13th (20th was unavailable due to VA holding a CSS competition).
This is an expression of interest as to who is interested to attend a competition on the 13th AND 20th of January.

Update: There’s been a few who have expressed interest on running the competition on the 12th & 13th (over one weekend) instead of it spanning out on the two Sundays.
So it’ll come down to a vote. Please reply in this post whether or not you team would rather the comp to be run over the weekend (Sat & Sun), the originally planned Sunday + Sunday, or both.
E.g. Dice, both
2 Week Melee details:
13th = Sunday, will be group stages
20th = Sunday, group stage + finals
It will be the same competition held over two seperate Sundays. Alternatively, a 1 day competition can be arranged however there will be less teams, and less prize money.
What the competition on the two Sundays will mean:
+ $25 registration will cover both Sundays ($20 if it’s a 1 day comp)
+ Doesn’t tie up your whole weekend
+ Gives you a weeks break
- Some people may not be able to attend both Sundays
- This means theres 3 (or possibly 4) whole consecutive weekends of CS with VA right after on the 27th (this should be a good thing)

If there is not enough interest, there will be a 1-day competition on the 20th however this will mean only 8 teams can attend.

Ey bro, this is Philzorz from #gameplan or what used to be category6. Interested in the comp for sure altho a 1 dayer would prolly benifit us much more seeing that it’s hard for a few of us to take both sundays off work. The 20th would be sick, 13th me and another cant make it
mmmm, i really rekn it’d be better to do it on the 12th+13th, or the 19th+20th but maybe thats just me, dont get me wrong i would love to play 4 weekends of cs in a row but will probs be a struggle for some of my teammates but meh i dno, id still play woudl probs just be a shitty slut team for 1 or both comps

imo best to have a 12 team double elim. easily done if we start at 10am
5r will probs come although they will probs be noob although no1 knows. Nor have been replaced so that doesnt matter. JP is 100% coming. G-plan will most likely come as they are all keen.
SS have always pulled together 5 for the past few comps so they should be fine, as have SFX although yes atm i believe they only have 4
excelsis are keen as mustard and have been praccing and are pretty good who cares if they havent lanned in the past 3 years thats no reason to dog them in the comp.
