Eternally Lost

Eternally Lost was a CEVO Lan team which died on Sunday, at the end of day 2 of the Melbourne AINC Qualifier.

EL was: beedee, peki, winnii, teddyt, rickeh

The death of EL started the week before the Qualifier when teddyt questioned the teams future and decided explore more options by playing with Amortize (hellraiser, port, endless, destiny). He was upfront about the situation towards me and advised me he would make up his mind soon.

Realising that he got along with us (EL) better, he broke the news to destiny (Amortize) that he’d be staying with us. I wasn’t surprised when he told me and knew he’d come to the right decision. It was then that teddyt questioned his place in EL again but this time for a different reason - because of the threats destiny had sent to him (below).

In the end everyone tried their hardest to tell Ted to come Saturday and assured him no one was going to hit him. His reply to us was “I’ve made up my mind, I’m not coming Saturday”. During the same week, winnii also made us aware he had to go to Darwin for a week so I finally decided against attending the first qualifier and informed madaajr to take us off the list before making the draw - there was no point trying to play as a team with 2 sluts. Peki however felt differently, and was still convinced he would persuade Ted into coming - and apparently he did but I was never aware until after I had agreed to play for iNvy the entire weekend.

On the Friday whilst at work, I received a call from Tran (nartove) who said we were trying to swap times with them for our match tomorrow and was just letting me know that their team couldn’t due to late notice. I rang Peki to see what was going on and was told that it was all good and we were playing on Sunday now.

I get home from work, it’s 2AM and started dota’ing with nameci (andy). It was then andy told me the only reason why we were playing on Sunday is because we were forfeiting our Saturday game. Being bitterly disappointed after confirming the rumours with Peki, I told him there was no point playing coming into this qualifier with 2 sluts and 1 life. I was under the impression he agreed with me when he didn’t respond and disconnected off vent.

When our dota game ended, andy got a sms from escuro (iNvy’s 5th) saying he couldn’t come today (only 6 hours before the match). Andy asked me to slut, I said yes and that was that.

After the qualifier rolled past with absolutely no action like ted had expected, I find ted + rickeh had moved to king (bumeh now their 6th) and EL dead - and that’s why I’m with iNvy

I do not know what will come of EL in CEVO, I still need to speak to the admins about it.
