June Update

I’ve added some more detail to the original June Update. So this is really June update’s update.

This is what I do when ESAU is down and I’m bored at work

1. Invite only pug in #dicevip is back up

The private pug was relaunched yesterday thanks to Mcky’s new and updated pugbot.

For those who don’t know who Mcky is, he created the bot for both #ipgn-comp, #ipgn-pug and previous versions of the pES pug bot.

Stats from the pugs will be shown at:

This will be integrated with the new site when it’s launched.

2. New site due for launch within a month.

The site is being coded by skills in his spare time and was designed by innate media group.

One of the main features it will have is that it’ll allow any regular user who wishes to submit news items the ability to easily create brackets and scorecards.

The other nifty thing it’ll do is it will keep a record of team stats for all the major competitions for you under achievements which will result in better seedings for future competitions.

3. StensGaming and iNvy take out the pro and noob divisions respectively.

StensGaming pocketed $2,500 after defeating VP while iNvy took home $1,000 with close matches with PnPoo.DT.

Both CEVO final matches were recorded however StensGaming / VP do not want their demo’s released to be counter-strated yet before WCG.

There was a bit of controversy surrounding the broadcast of the CEVO-Pro finals match as it was open to a handful of players only.

4. ESAU acquires KODE5 license

Another nationals for CS! We have bee and Godless to thank for this one, they’ve worked hard on improving ESAU and they seem to be doing very well so far.

There is also talk about a CPL style nationals separate to KODE5 where there are no invites, autobirths etc. Teams will register at ESAU and then walk/train/fly/roadtrip down to wherever it’s held in one big tournament.

For this to happen you’ll need to start hassling bee and Godless of ESAU

5. Melbourne set to send 5 teams to WCG Nationals.

StensGaming, Snatch, iNvy, dice & DigitalMind (formerly KING) have confirmed their attendance to WCG in August.

Snatch, dice and DM will all benefit from the kitty pool which currently stands at $1,000 and will be given to them at Sydney.

dicevip.com will be monitoring these five teams progress closely on our new website (hopefully) and should have a video of the event out after WCG.
