The last few days have been kind of slow. Otis and myself spent about 3-4 hours walking around all of Tsim Sha Tsui (Kowloon) looking at various shops.

On Sunday, we arrived back at the hotel at around 6pm and met up with the rest of the guys to have a bit of a chat about WCG and our group. We went down the road to get some dinner and on our way we found another netcafe called mysystem (same as the one we previously played at when we pracced vs RS).

The building it was in was really dodgy, and the elevator looked like it was made of masking tape, so we took the stairs and had a quick look around the netcafe. The setup was different to that of the mysystem at the Mong Kok location, probably about 60-70 computers compared to about 200 at Mong Kok. Once again, every computer had speakers, but there was only about 10 people in the cafe this time... lucky for us I guess. Otis and I quickly got on msn/steam and tried to organise a prac for the night and tomorrow night before we went to get some dinner. We were in talks with xqR's spitty, players from RS and eP and got the contact details for the Titan's as well. We were pretty lucky that we organised RS for about an hour later, and setup a prac with eP for tomorrow night! Online prac would have to do.

We left the mysystem netcafe and headed out to dinner, and found a nice Vietnamese restaurant. Everybody decided to eat with the exception of Soren. Mike, Otis and myself all got the same thing, chicken skewers and some beef dish, while Keser decided to get some beef dish with spring rolls. It came out within 5 minutes and after we finished we headed back to the netcafe for revenge on RS. We had setup our gear and were ready to prac RS when yet again, we had some computer problems... More asian language translation thing on the screen, some keys being remapped on the keyboard and some sound issues (always going to down the lowest volume in windows). There was only 1 staff member at the cafe and he seemed more interested in watching his movie than helping us. After about 10 minutes we were able to work it out and it was time for prac.

1st map was again inferno, and we started off really well, got out to a 6-0 lead. We were able to communicate with each other really well, get our strats going when all of a sudden the staff member came over to us and told us to be quiet - even though we weren't being loud at all. Somehow our talking was louder than the 3 guys playing their DDR game on max volume and the other 4 or 5 people playing their movies with max volume aswell... rightio! That was pretty annoying and I think we only managed to get 1 or 2 more rounds for the half. Still not a bad result for the half, but we were clearly in command but ended up losing the half. We swapped to CT's and it was back and forth to begin with, but after the first 5 or 6 rounds we shut it down and ended up winning the map. We played out every round and the final score was about 19-11 or 18-12.

After inferno we were informed by RS that the draw had been released and we knew what maps we would be playing against the other teams in our group. mTw on tuscan, Virtus.pro on inferno, Vatos Locos on nuke, and Power Gaming on train. Not too bad for us, but could have been better I guess. I'm pretty happy that we won't get dust2 in the groups.

Next map in the prac was tuscan, we started off as CT and got out to a 6-0 lead, and lost a few rounds, but still ended the half 10-5 in our favour. After trading rounds on the second half, we were once again able to pick up another win! 2-0 for tonight.

The third map we played was nuke, and we started off as CT. We were up 4-2 as CT and lost a slow dgl eco vs them which screwed our money.. 4-3 and we were on the eco. We decided to put some pressure on topsite and I was able to flank t mid and push out hut and kill two, mike was in a 1v2 and pushed through annex with a deagle and killed one then 1b'd a guy through the hut eco'ing RS back!

Once again RS were eco again, and went out ramps to ladder. It seemed like they were everywhere and they ended winning another the eco with 2 players alive. We were again eco and put pressure on top and then back to ramps. They ended up coming to ramps and I spammed my usp killing 2 through the smoke, fell down the ramp and got 1 more. Otis and mike got 1 each and we won another another eco. Both teams just won 2 eco's each which I thought was pretty funny. We traded rounds for the rest of the map and ended up taking it out in a much closer game 17-13.

The final map for the prac was train. We started off as T's and won the pistol round, but on the eco we lost 2 AK's to them after the bomb had blown. They decided to buy on the 3rd round (along with the 2 ak's) and lost the round, and every single round after that until the last ending the half 3-12. We lost the CT pistol, but were able to win the 2nd eco after a goblin defuse. Mike played incredible in the 2nd half and dropped about 34-35 frags on the half! We ended up losing the map 16-14 but it was a good effort. We thanked RS for the pracs and finished up at about 1am and headed back to our rooms.

For today (Monday) we have eP lined up for prac @ 8pm local time, however I would like to watch some demos of the teams in our group now that we know what maps we play everybody on.
