Sitting on the plane to Taipei and starting to get extremely sick of my iPod even with 40 new songs on there. So I thought I'd put my iPhone to it's first real challenge since the purchase.

I've got approximately 2hrs left of flight time, the trip so far has been very sound, no awkward seating or air sickness. Only trouble I ran into was at the duty free in Perth, they've now made it so it's the first thing you walk into when going to your gate. So with all the alcohol staring me in the face I couldn't resist any longer.. I got a $7 200ml hip flask of Chivas Regal thinking it was quite the value and it would be perfect to sleep on. Wrong.

I was ignorant of the fact that the plane cups would be so small and I suffered the consequences. I was aiming for a sharp drink to end me for the rest of the flight, all I got was a restless stomach and frequent trips to the toilets. Serving myself a 50ml shot in a 70ml cup of little to no coke (the thirst beat me).. The bloke sitting next to me was looking at me like I was after a death wish. I took the first sip and almost hurled it on the passenger infront.. I man'd up though and finished my glass (approx 3am). Lesson learnt just go with the in flight service. The flask was later disposed by security in Singapore at my gate boarding to Taipei, for the best.

I managed to have a quick chat with Gaz before leaving Singapore to make sure him and the boys were all good and they were all waiting for their flight out of Brisbane. So everything is going to plan and I'm really excited to see where our apartment is situated and what surrounds it.. More news later as we head into the night hopefully! <3
