ZAM Amateur Comp Results
September 14, 2008

Chiz: For the first lan comp I was running/trying to run, I had no idea what to do. ZAM was open early and peki helped me out and taught me a few of the commands as I collected rego for the first 4 teams. Motivated were slow to start, but got better as the day progressed, but never really made up enough ground to be a threat in the finals, HAF were very consistent all day, rarely missed shots and won some smart clutches. Transonic were never a threat, even with the likes of bee and peki, excelsis had a couple of close games but never seemed to be able to get across the line.
Sublime Weekend Results
September 2, 2008

For our first event, Sublime are pretty happy. We were cautious with our approach to the ZAM event and made sure everything was up to scratch as we wanted the best start we could to our LAN future.
Dragon set up the LAN at ZAM in order to promote Sublime PC Gear and it’s new 1.6 team consisting of teddyt, jimeh, devour, nezza, rickeh & yugo. Although the team finished second overall in an exciting semi final, it was to only the recent WCG Australia Champions Team Immunity who took out the competition quite easily.

C4 Internet Cafe

I had the opportunity to head down and check out the new C4 Internet Cafe and met with the owners Adam and Jarrod. Due to other commitments I couldn’t sit down and properly test the machines but from what I saw, it will definitely appeal to everyone from gamers to casual net browsers.

iBisQ Pilot Review
May 25, 2008

Let me start by saying having to admin and play at the same time didn’t go down well especially with food poisoning which made all the small admin tasks such as seating become huge headaches. So apologies if it seemed like I didn’t care about your pc issues and let the comp slip out of schedule.

The old home of Melbourne Counter-Strike iBisQ is coming back, and back in a big way. The renovations are pretty much complete and let me be the first (or second) to say after testing these machines out it looks very promising.
