needs to be fixed, you cant have rounds won as the separating factor between teams when you don't play out

Its not rounds won, nor just rounds lost either. Its a number of different things - i spoke to talnoy about it. From memory rounds won dont even come into the equation.

i might be talking about the wrong thing here, but that table clearly stats Streak /Win / Loss / For / Against.
And if you do add up the results, it does exactly = the rounds for and against.

I think ur talking about the wrong thing gomez (or i misunderstood you).
I'm pretty sure sponny is saying that they (exile5) should be above us (nordland) on the ladder as rounds won shouldnt be the determing factor in who is above who - which it isnt. If it were me personally doing it id base it solely off round-difference (won minus lost), which would put exile5 above us, but CG does it differently and i cant quite remember how because it was like a month ago for the CSS ladder but it takes into account a number of different things from memory.

Hi guys,
To analyze the situation nordlands loss so far was 16-14 and exile5's was 16-11 which is why exile5 is below as their rounds won are lower even though the rounds lost are lower aswell.
Note untill the end of the season the scoreboard will fluctuate as they both may be 3-1 in win/loss but its contestable that said win/loss one team may have faced harder teams which doesnt balance until the season is complete.
If at the end of the season you cant understand how the rankings work of whether they correctly apply to the current rules it can be reviewed. The first point i noted as there are 15-15 scores in there? in CSS the overtime scores apply and then when the final rankings are being validated they are reduced to 16-15, the reason for that is that in CSS 16-14 is the highest possible score without overtime so an OT win is reduced to 16-15 to give a round penalty as on OT win is lower graded than a win without OT.

Also it messes things up a bit when there are forfeit wins, of which exile5 has one over vhm 16-0.
Either way theres still 2 more weeks to the season left so as talnoy said just wait til the end and im sure everythign will be pretty accurate based off the entire season.

Why would you make it way more confusing than it needs to be?
Win = 3 points Draw = 1 point Loss = 0 points
If Team A and Team B = same points then the next line of measurement is +F/A- on rounds.
End of story.
Also pointclick received a win from KBS as a forfeit of 16-0. Kind of messes up the for/against though.

Exile5, Uprising, and Pointclick all received a forfeit that counted as 16-0 win, so i can definitely understand them including more info than simply rounds F/A into the equation of the rankings as it does actually make sense.

well not entirely, our game still says we beat KBS 16-2...
what i dont understand is how we have 41 rounds against when its 26 by my calculations (2(KBS) 10(uprising) 16 (archaic) 0 (VHM) )

I'm talking about ur game vs VHM as the 16-0 forfeit... not KBS, i didnt even take that into account.
and 26 + 15 (the 15 rounds against nordland) = 41 by my count.
For the record, Uprising's 16-0 forfeit was vs VHM too, and pointclick's 16-0 forfeit was vs KBS.
