Mindfreak eSports is delighted to announce the recruitment of Counter-Strike: 1.6 team v300 to the organization. The team will represent MF eSports at all major 1.6 events in 2011. Counter-Strike: 1.6 is tipped to have a busy year with national events and of course the World Cyber Games qualifiers. Mindfreak's new division will hope to compete strongly at all these events.
The team finished 2nd at the January DICE VIP nationals and won the previous installment of the competition.
Mindfreak's new CS 1.6 division is:

Matt "mafu" Chan
Michael "c0ke" Truong
Andrew "nameci" Luong
Mindfreak General Manager Reagan "RiGZ" Koryozo said:

gw rigs its great that you're trying to improve the community with organisations etc but its a whole heap of dosh wasted.
saying that the 1.6 team wont be out till nex wcg qual (july im thinking)

Cobbie "national events and of course the World Cyber Games qualifiers" not only WCG but most if not all Nats and big LAN’s, we are not only planning on playing a WCG :P.
A lot of people are asking what happened with VHM, the fact of the matter is the chance to pick up v300 came along and as a org we could not turn that down, VHM are all skilled players and nice guys but the chance to have a team like v300 working with us was just too big to pass on. I wish VHM all the best for the future.

Ive got some "Events" planned which might go ahead. These will be proper Events like WCG, and not so much a Community Event.
In the event, all my stuff gets knocked back, i will 100% run an ECN again, but i would prefer to run something with more meaningful outcomes.
DiceNats and ECN are great, but we cant only have these events, need a good mixture of both.
