This one is apparently better than the 2233rz

BenQ XL2410T 23.6 Inch Widescreen LED Monitor 120Hz

Quite a bit more $$$ otherwise wait for the new LED 120hz Samsung models.

Go the Alienware OptX AW2310 if you can't get a 2233rz

Motion have you ever used a XL2410T?

We have 22 of these panels and there is zero input lag - it's the reason it sells big throughout Japan, for all the console gamers. Some people here have used these panels at DiceNats, ask them if it had input lag. You can press a button on the panel to change it to 4:3, 17", 19", 22" Wide, with 16:10 and 16:9 ratios also supported. Price is a little higher however due to it being a LED panel. If you're in Melbourne I'm happy to let you test one out.

On another note Pete from our CoD team won an Alienware panel and if a phone rings within 100 paces he can't use his screen.

Badass
I used the benq XL2410T and there was 0 problems with it it was a really good monitor and everyone on our team loved it. That being said though it was the only 120hz lcd ive used.

Yeh i've used one sentinel, and there seems to some conflicting reviews.

My personal use of it felt off in comparison to my alienware 120hz, it did feel like it had input lag(this was before i was told about reports of it having input lag also).

No idea why Showie can't use his, myself and the rest of archaic have alienware 120hz and don't have that issue D:

I'm just suggesting what i've used and works for me

also this is the thread which explains the input lag issue i believe

http://www.esreality.com/index.php?a=post&id=1980916

there was a more in depth analysis on esr but i can't find it, was in a general monitor thread.

either way you'll be satisfied with any of the 120hz monitors on the market paulyojon

Only a faulty unit would have input lag issues. These guys believe it has a 6.76ms input lag.

http://www.pcmonitors.org/monitor-reviews/benq-xl2410t

Keen to see some conflicting reports though? Every reviewer I've spoken to including people in the competitive console community haven't had a single problem?

In the ESL thread the guy is referring to the E2200 - that is a multimedia panel @ 60Hz. The G2200HD was the previous king of the console community with zero input lag.

it's a statement in reference to BenQ and their color correction issues throughout all their monitors. it's way too difficult to search through ESR on my phone for the specific thread. Thats what appears in google first

As i stated anyway, 1.6 felt dogshit for me on the xl2410t in comparison to my alienware. So my personal view is that the alienware 120hz is a better monitor. I used the xl2410t for about 3 days before i switched back to my alienware.

Personal preference is king however when you get some time I'm keen for some links about any issues with the XL2410T you've seen. :)

Yeah the pccasegear is rip off, you can get the 27" one for about $500 as listed above.

So the 23" should drop to around 300ish soon.

:D Yeah the 27" is very tempting at that price. Even much better than the newegg price.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001472&Tpk=SAMSUNG%20S27A950D

I'm not sure 1080p is a high enough reso for a 27" for text and stuff though...

And I've already got a 50" 3D plasma so... I'm more interested in the 23" version - just for the 120hz.

I've actually had the 27" for the past week. Pretty good i must say for 120hz @ 27". Paid $540 at centrecom.
