Yeah GTR/NEo/Forp are the best of today - Dosia, Trace, Edward & moddii are also up there.

Heaton always said Potti was the best, Potti was definitely the best @ 1 v Xs situations.

But Heaton’s spam was OP.

im starting to like you more each post :D

i agree exactly almost, GTR NEO Forp Edward for rifles are ahead of anyone, GTR statistically has been the best player to ever play the game in history.. if you look at his stats hes held #1 for like 2 yrs now which is ridiculous, but i think the other 3 are more impact type players, like on there 'day' they can be unstoppable.

Yer was weird how heaton says potti was the best and better than he ever was, potti had the best usp ever and best pistol round player overall imo, i heard alot of people say he changed his sens and xhair between every single match aswell

and new players yeah those guys are pretty much on the path, id put ed1k there too as he calls for M5 and has been either 1st or 2nd in stats next to dosia

:P

I would still pick Neo over GTR; I realize GTR has the best stats no question there. But also think GTR's teams have generally been slightly stronger than Neo's.

I agree Edward & F0rest are definitely more impact players. But imo F0rest on his best day is better than anyone, but he lacks consistency more so than GTR or Neo.

Neo is probably the better all around player, his movement is unmatched and he can AWP better than GTR, i rkn GTR is the most consistent player in the world tho, f0rest @ beast mode = best overall

lul, i dont think they would be winning comps imo. SpawN has returned numerous times and hasnt been able to keep up with the up and comers like pronax, xizt etc. Game has changed

trace or neo are the best players in the world atm, navi is the best team with MTW having the most long term potential.

SK is going to end in tears, with so much pressure for continued success and the organisations determination to create a new dynasty, lineup changes will be synonymous with losing.

That said i think watching cs back in 2003 was much more enjoyable then watching it now. Tactical game play has been replaced with ROFL watch me go huge and continual Russian buys trying to exploit a money system with their aim. This is also why I believe NAVI and mtw will be more succesful in the long term than sk.

This is in my opinion, why underdog teams are getting closer and closer to the top tier teams. If these teams had a neo, trace, forest, markeloff tier player they could be winning these competitions.

For those of you who are interested there is a really good interview with threat on the SK gaming website who goes into the history of swedish cs and how these power players came about. Also talks about how team players (whimp, tentpole) have been removed from the scene due to the community's mindset. And acknowledged that only the really big teams, MTW, NAVI, FX still have them and questions whether they are really the key to the big success dynasty teams have.

You may not agree on the class of player threat is but he is probably the best caller in sweden, has influenced the game there for many years (he actually made many of gtr's tricks and showed archie from fnatic enough to make him competitively viable with his incredible aim) not to mention the guy who used to find the talent for begrip :). He knows what he's talking about.

Im hoping cs changes again, a team from brazil, asia, aus :? comes out of nowhere, plays solid, plays like a team and doesnt let these big name players make shit happen. Play tactically perfect and dominate one comp as best they can. Realistically thats all us minnow regions can hope for as professionals will always winout at the long game.

shall we look at a moment that defined cs"

that trick had probably been used by a million pub cs players before heaton, it's just that the competitive cs playerbase was mainly comprised of high school dropouts who need to be shown exactly how to do something before they can go and practice doing it for hundreds of hours and become outrageously online

SeabeaR the last year SpawN was good was like 2007, that's like 7 years at near the top in the world. All his comebacks you would certainly have to question his motivation and he would never be playing as much as he used to be.

Also, he's pretty old and imo most players over 25 can't react as fast as they used too. They can't be mad fragers after a certain age and have to play smarter.

trace is not better than get_right, hes probly top 5 atm in the world, NEO overall may be the best player who knows, between GT f0rp neo edward trace its impossible to tell, whoever of them has a good day will be the best in the world..

mTw fell apart when they lost the best player to ever wear the mTw tag, if you were an mTw fan you'd know this was MJE. Him and Whimp were pretty much the sole of mTw, i doubt they will ever be as good as mTw 2008, infact id almost bet they will never get to those heights again.

SK have always been a dog organisation, its business for them in the end, they get whoever they want for any team they want, just recently they got 2 of the best SC2 players from a top Korean team, They will continue to dictate esports with transfers like they always have

Of course HeatoN probably wasn't the first ever person to throw a smoke as a fake you moron. That specific moment was the first time a professional player used a smoke in a big game like that and it became a legend, hence why it was named.. dun dun dun.. The Heaton Smoke

France could have a very strong team now that -M- and eSahara merged, if they get the right combination they will be a force imo, sixer majer harts drizzer diodel

LOL im still of the opinion the heaton grenade trick was accidental at the time and he steven bradberry'd to that credit.

I agree mtw lost big players but i think they have proved they still function from the same ethos and continue to be successful even after such a long time.

Well neo never has bad days he only has better days he is defiantly the most consistent. Trace is getting into that category too if he awped less :o. Get right has very bad games, he has them whenever he becomes emotionally charged in games. Edward has insane aim but i really dont rate the guy as highly as the other 4 in the pool. And finally forest, just this absolute monster, hes a class above everyone in his team thats for sure, their first comp in SK when they played fx on inf, he was the only player who was comeptitive, but he was in a big way. Hes top probably in the top three with trace and neo. But im probably being blinded by my hate for SK org of late. Haven't liked the team since gux left for fnatic. forest is great but i still question whether he has what it takes to beat the navi machine on a consistent basis. Marko's awp seems to shut him down too often.

f0rest lacks motivation from time to time, he seems to fire up when ever his team gets a new member. For instance I reckon SK's recent success has been because f0rest has been playing better not that delpan is now part of the team.

And as we have all stated f0rest on his best day is at another level compared to everyone else.

SK haven't taken MC and NaDa from oGs in a full transfer sense. They will just represent them in foreign tournaments(outside of Korea). They're just trying to get a dig into the SC2 scene and they've managed to strike a deal with 2 of the better/most known names.

Pretty smart business move by them to be honest.

Obviously players are better these days

but heaton/potti were so far ahead of their time they were ridiculously amazing for the period they were playing in. they were at least 1-2 years ahead of everyone in every tournament they played at. it was ridiculous how much they were able to p00n
