Zowie ec1 has prediction and the mouse feet are too big. Also, I don't like the mouse 1 button.

Zowie AM or Steelseries Kana are the best mice atm.

As for pros using mouse accel the only good ones I know of are trace & roman.

Supposedly all optical/laser mice have prediction/smoothing otherwise they wouldn't funtion. The level of prediction algorithm is the only variable. There's also the issue of negative/positive accelartion on some image-processors chips which is a separate issue to your OS and HL acceleration issues. It's been said that the STMicroelectronics image-processors in the 1.1a, WMO and v3 have the least obtrusive prediction around. Avago makes most of these image-processors on the market like what's found in the SS mice and the Zowie EC series. There was a link I posted in a thread ages ago to a spreadsheet simlar to the one on the link below however the author had listed known issues with each processor. I'll see if I can find it again.
