Just wanted to give out some thanks to alot of people
I have to say the 1.6 community is EXTREMELY lucky to have a guy like beedee doin what he is doing. I just wish everybody saw the amount of effort he puts in at these events , it seriously is a full time job . Good work mate
Jimneso.... Your a champ simple as that , you acted professionaly and ran a very good competition as always. Thank you for putting up with all the questions and everything
The helpers , Godless/ZPR/DIPPA . You guys stood there all day making sure everything ran smoothly with out asking for anything back . You guys are legends
It was good to see the 1.6 Community coming together and helping out . I just hope people knew about how much behind the scenes work goes on to run events like this . People like jim get boss around all day by sponsors/event people then bombared with questions from gamers/teams which was full time job within it self.
Thank you to everybody that helped out
Well Played to all players involed
Gamestah were glad to be apart of the event . Our VODS have turned out very laggy and we may reVOD the videos and overlay the audio we casted (if demos come out from this event)
Congrats SQL and BL v300 you played well.

I was thinking of making a praise thread myself but since you have already Scott, i'll just add it in here haha.
Firstly, I'd just like to thank everyone who was involved in making WCG happen this year, I honestly didn't think that this event would have been the way it turned out to be. In fact, the Sydney qualifiers that took place at the same venue the weekend before had so many problems that it lead me to believe that we'd see the same problems again during WCG nationals. Although there were few issues during the two days, we managed to work around it quite well.
A special mention to Dave/Godless & James/unpro for putting it all together - I'm glad you guys put in a lot of effort into preparing this event, I'm always glad to help out for people like yourselves who put in the hard yard. George as usual for his awesome coverage the whole day... I seriously don't think Australian CS would be the same without him :D and not to forget Scott & Pandan who did some awesome shout-casting and interviews all day for you people out there watching!
Was great to see the familiar faces once again and getting to know some new ones... Would be keen to see you guys all again :D!
Congratulations to all the winners - Sequential, v300 and GUTS! Best of luck to Sequential who will be representing Australia in mid November (Their group announced on Monday!) ... I'm sure they will be practising really hard and doing us proud :D
Thank-you all and I hope everyone is still keen for another nationals to come sometime soon ;)
OH and if anyone has HLTV recorded for day 2, please send them across to beedee, the HLTVs for some stupid reason didn't record, I'm guessing its because of the shoutcast HLTVs. Day 1 HLTVs will be uploaded sometime soon!

I've just spent 2 days sleeping off the weekend and it seems everybody I wanted to thank has been thanked already. However, I think it is necessary to highlight the important contributions made by some people.
I would like to sincerely thank the team that formed over the weekend. A team that I was very proud to be a part of.
Sam/zpR, without your innate understanding of Sydney Lan centres we would not have been able to troubleshoot the respective problems so easily. Over the 2 days, you asked for nothing and gave everything. Everyone really came together and kept the wheels turning all weekend.
Craig/Pandan, Scott/Boomser, for taking this event and broadcasting it to a much wider audience. These guys provided awesome coverage (as usual) as well as having to jump through the many burning hoops at the request of our sponsors.
Alex/Dippa, having the advice of a former WCG tournament director is a huge asset to anyone in my position. Willingly giving up his free time to help ensure that the weekend ran smoothly.
Geo/Beedee, if someone sneezed, geo had it already captured on film and uploaded to youtube. Out of his own pocket he paid for himself to come to Sydney to help cover WCG. Without him, I can assure everyone that there would not have been the amount of coverage there was over the weekend, and I think everyone who realised this is eternally grateful.
Dave/Godless, for helping take the weight off my shoulders over the weekend. Dave ensured that the sponsors still had huge smiles on their faces at the end of the weekend, which can only mean great things for Australian eSports. Having that extra person there meant that I could get on and do what needed to be done.
To the players, despite the delays and the problems (that always seemingly rear their heads), they remained calm and stuck it out (well, some). Thanks for being absolute champions.
To the winners, SQL, v300, GUTS , Dimitri and Joel. You played with the right spirit all tournament and deserved everything you got over the weekend. Enjoy your prizes as you have well and truly earnt them. Those of you going overseas, I trust you will do your best and help keep Australia on the eSports map.
A massive thankyou to Samsung, who despite everything happening financially came through and helped deliever an awesome National event and something everybody involved can be proud of. It is without the sponsors that none of this would of happened, and I hope you remember that when making your next purchase.
Again, thank you everyone for making another memorable weekend. I for one cannot wait until the next event.

Just started adding files to the library now. Unfortunately as my pc copped a knock on the flight down, the framerate of the vod is lacking somewhat, but seeing as the HLTVs are missing, I'mm putting up whatever we have for Sunday :) http://www.gamestah.com/files/live-events/wcg-world-cybe
