my ingame mic is all distorted when i talk, however when i use my mic outside of cs, it's fine (ie. on vent).

Currently got Windows7 installed, anyone know a solution to my dilemma?

since were on the subject of mics I also have a question. In vent my mic makes a buzzing noise on all servers, but in any server ingame CS its 100% perfect... I thought it might be broken since i smashed my headphones on the floor so much but it's fine in CS :o

well depending on what type of motherboard you have... go to your manufacturer website and download the HD audio drivers for windows 7.

for eg mine is:

if thats the motherboard then here...
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18307&ProdId=3058&lang=eng

go there and download it the audio driver. Install restart, should work. dont blame me if you come back with no sound though.
