Hey guys today we had the WA qualifier at Gamers Choice in Joondalup, Perth. I thought I would just share some information on how the day went.

7:15am I wakeup to a "SHIT" from ecence realising that we had over slept the alarm clock an hour. We had quick showers, got our stuff and walked to GC to setup for the comp.

At 9:00am we saw some familar faces rock up unfortunately a few players from the 5th team (NAF) didn't show up and the other players in there team were forced to go home (sorry to those guys). After a few minutes of pre-game banter we did the map draw that was to be played in a 4team group with the top2 teams progressing to a bo3 final and 3rd and 4th playing out incase of a trickle.

The teams set up and warmed up and we got our first games started around 9:45am on de_inferno:

The Finals

The group stages finished at about 1:30pm and every1 had a little break to get some lunch and what not. About 30 minutes later PGC & Gameover were ready to play. PGC eliminated train while gameover eliminated tuscan. xs1v won the coin toss with a quick heads call and decided to play de_dust2 first, PGC won the knife round and chose CT's and lost the first half 4-11 but some impressive awp play by ecence helped PGC come back with a solid 12-1 to win the map 16-12.

Nuke was next as PGC chose T side first they headed off with a 9-6 lead at half, as PGC won the CT pistol it looked all to be gameover for Gameover but with some tight 1v1's and 2v2's, Gameover put up some resistance, it just wasnt enough as PGC closed out the match at 16-10.

All in all I thought the comp was quite smooth with few hiccups apart from the lack of teams. I'd like to thank everyone who gave there time to attend and GG was fun.
