DICEVIP were invited to take an exclusive look at MC Internet before their grand opening next week. Although MC Internet's doors will be open to the public as of midday tomorrow, it will be used for testing purposes and therefor FREE to anyone who wants to come try it out for tomorrow only. If you'd like to come in on the weekend its only $2 and you can play for the entire day!
Our local counter-strike handyman davestr1zl was first on the scene.
The cafe itself resembles N2C somewhat from the floorplan it employs, however distinguishes itself by having 3 seperate "Private Booths" dedicated for gaming teams. When we spoke to the owner, Suka, he assured us teams or group bookings "will take priority in these rooms" over public use, as he understands the nature of competitive gaming. This, afterall, is his second cafe - the first being the premier Internet Cafe in New Zealand, MidCity, whom sponsor Parallax.
Two of the three private rooms have five PC's each, while the third has 10 PC's.
The common area is host to another 40 PC's partitioned in 8, 5 & 2 PC blocks.
For those wondering about CS competitions, there are a total of 8 rows with 5+ PC's, which means 4 games can be played at once. This doesn't even include tashe 2 "clan rooms" at the back which feature a 3-2 setup. The desk-space for each PC is equivalent to that of ZAM, and as shown in the pictures below can comfortably fit their keyboards and a QCK Heavy mousepad per PC.
The following are the PC Specs for the 60 computers:

When we were discussing the role this cafe would play in the competative gaming environment, he let loose that they are indeed seeking to sponsor teams from Counter-Strike 1.6, Source, DOTA & possibly more.
