Elysium Nationals VIC Qualifier #2

The registrations for the second Victorian qualifier for the Elysium Community Nationals are now open! The qualifiers are being ran by Dicevip, and will be held at MC Internet. The winning team will be awarded an Autoberth to the Nationals in Queensland on the 29th-30th May, while the 2nd place will receive an Invite. All the information and details for registration can be found below.

Please note: This 2nd qualifier has now been moved one day earlier to the Saturday 1st May. This is due to reasons completely out of our control as MC has another tournament on the originally planned date. We apologise for any inconvenience.

We'll do way we can with the format dreamr, obviously know teams want max amount of games, but making sure it's a suitable format for a nats qual. Will obviously depend on number of teams, but 2 groups of 5 with top 4 in double elim finals (not bo3 single elim) could pros be ok if we get 9-10 teams. If 8 teams then roundrobin again.
Just every team sign up plz, we really need as good a turnout a possible, then well figure out format from there!

You can oraganise both on the day quite easily imo (groups or 8TRR). If theres 9 teams and 1 didn't show up and it was groups if they really wanted to it would take 5-10minutes to set up the round robin. I doubt it highly they aren't going to let tommys team join just because people want 3 more games. Both comps needed I think 10-12 teams, doubt they are just going to make it 8TRR because a few people want it.

Not sure whether 9 team RR is do-able or not (ie. time-wise), will look at it now, if not then 2 groups with, top 4 teams in finals.

If any other teams want to sign up feel free, it'll just mean the format 100% gets changed to 2 groups of 5.

i drew up a mock draw with 9 teams, it would be 8 rounds, 4 scrims at once with 1 team having a rest each round...10am start, allow 1hour 15 minutes for each scrim? times that by 8 rounds and it equals a pretty long day, but would be pretty fun and everyone gets lots of cs + a decent break for food/watching games. would probably only work without a final, with the 3 top teams from the round robin getting the invite
