As previously reported here, team Immunity were invited to attend ESWC Masters in Cheonan, South Korea. At the time the remaining 15 teams also attending the event were unknown, but ESWC has released the other 11 invited teams from the registration list, with the remaining 4 Korean teams yet to be decided.
The following is the selection (listed unseeded) that were chosen from approximately 90 of the worlds best teams that registered for the event. The following teams are as of yet unconfirmed, but should any of them pull out before the date they will be replaced by the teams listed on the waiting list. The 4 best Korean teams will be known end of April at the end of the national qualifiers.
The ESWC Masters event is one of the larger tournaments of the year, with invites to ESWC World Finals given the top 3 placing teams not already in possession of one. A substantial $30,000 US prize pool is also up for grabs. The ESWC Asia Masters of Cheonan will be held from May 2nd to May 5th 2009 and will be played at the "2009 Cheonan International e-Sports Culture Festival" at the Yu Gwanun Gymnasium and Cheonan Sports Complex.

also pretty damn bad that crack clan didnt get invited over alot of those teams considering finland doesnt have an eswc qual this year... and x3o/EG being invited over GG seems pretty random aswell..

Meanwhile, the ESWC has stressed that the ESWC Asia Masters will take place as scheduled as it is financed by local Korean sponsors.
