As you may or may not be aware, I have officially taken over running this years WCG.au Final, and will be flying up on Thursday morning to Sydney to sus out the venue. You can now direct your questions/queries to myself instead of Jim 'Unpro' Cowan. That being said I'd just like to thank Jim for doing all he has done for this nationals so far, and it's unfortunate he wasn't given the chance to finish it.
With the date of the WCG Australian Finals closing in, the majority of teams have confirmed their attendance, some have declined resulting in several wildcard invites being available.
Melbourne team
VHM decided they would follow in
GUTS footsteps and also decline their invite due to the short notice and availability of accommodation.
Top Gear from QLD also have declined their invite for the same reason.
That leaves 3 spots up for grabs, if you have a team of 5 and feel you deserve one of the remaining spots to this years final, pm me via irc #DICEVIP or through the dice messaging system (pm me here).

Wildcards will be chosen based on previous results, reliability to turn up and teams who have supported the qualifying process by attending a state qualifier.
Please keep the thread on topic, posts that intend to banter/cause problems will be deleted.
gl to whoever goes
do they not have an obligation under their WCG contract to deliver the event in a 'professional' way? do they get funding from WCG? does WCG provide guidelines on how to organise an event?
if they are incompetent and have not delivered what their agreement is with WCG then we as the players should be compensated with the refund of our money.
invite has been given
EDIT: ITS A JOKE
