After months of discussion, Cybergamer have revealed details about its first online 1.6 league which will span over 3 months and 3 divisions.
The pay to play league will run over a period of 7 weeks with the top 4 teams advancing to a best-of-three finals. Skill wise it will be broken down into 3 divisions:
Black Invite League (Div1)
Blue Main League (Div2)
Green amateur League (Div3)
Registrations will open up this Saturday where teams will choose a division to join, and then drafted into the appropriate division by admins to ensure fair play.
There is a team limit of 8 for each division, so make sure you register your interest quickly.

I really wanna make something thats simple but fun for you guys as i really want this to be a success. If you all get involved and get keen do some writeups a bit of posting i can pitch your league to a sponsor and you can start seeing pools like CSS and COD4 that get between $5-7000 a season
As it is atm, this can be seen as the first of hopefully many to come so theres nothing wrong with having cheap rego (if anything its a bonus), and afaik cybergamer will be chipping in with their own money for additional prizes so they'll be really good aswell.
At the end of the day, if teams fully pay their rego then end up dogging the comp because they dont care its no1's loss but their own. At most it will cause a minor inconvenience with teams having a bye each week. If u've received their money then it doesnt really matter what they do after that.
