In only a few short days the Australian WCG Champs Team Immunity embark on their round-the-world journey with their first stopover being Beijing for the MSi 'Beat It' tournament followed a thirteen day boot-camp in one of the worlds most famous netcafes, Stockholms Inferno Online to better prepare themselves for the World Cyber Games Finals in Los Angeles later in the month.
They will be flying straight from Beijing after the MSI BEAT IT competition wraps up on the 7th of September to begin their boot-camp. Settling in at Inferno Online in Stockholm the team will have access to one of the world’s largest LAN cafes with some of the fastest internet in the world. This combined with LAN practise against SK Gaming’ and ‘ H2K will provide a significant arena for focused practise.
Over the thirteen day boot-camp the team has laid out a list of goals and objectives that they aim to achieve and hope to take from this great learning experience. Humbled and motivated by the fact that they will be again representing Australia at the World Cyber Games the team is hoping to harness the experience and develop into an even more formidable opponent on the international scene.
The team will be leaving Sweden on the 19th of September and heading home for couple of days to rest and recuperate. After this quick pit-stop the team will then fly directly to Los Angeles over a week early in order to practise North American teams and begin final preparations for the Global Finals of the World Cyber Games." - Team Immunity
Stay tuned to both DICEVIP and the Team Immunity website throughout the course of this month as we'll do our best to bring you all the action from their games in China, Sweden and Los Angeles.
Good luck team iM we are all rooting for you to play your best!
There is no pressure of any sort because you are underdogs by definition. Don't worry about previous iM or Aus team records or placings. I hope you guys really do achieve your personal goals and then a little more.
At the end of the day each one of you are strong and capable players so just take it one game at a time I say.
And most importantly have fun in the competition overseas cheers!!
