Don't forget to check out Chris "GoMeZ" Orfanellis' blog as he travels to China and covers the event live for DICEVIP! See his first blog here and a list of all his blogs here.

There will be LIVE Broadcasting when the event starts - find the live broadcast details on the official MSI BEAT IT page here.

Update #2

Fnatic have interviewed Immunity about their training regiment, their opinions on the event and more.

I'm hoping to see Australia and the United States battle it out in an epic dual! It's been many years since Australia and the United States have met in CS1.6 and I really think it would be a cracker of a game - fingers crossed for the draw!

You can read the full interview on the fnatic.com - Immunity expect solid results at MSI BEAT IT

Update #5

Australia Immunity lose their first game to Sweden Lions 16-2 (13-2, 3-0)

Update from the center from Sommi:

Computers have the wrong cs version, wrong cs models... games delayed by 4 hours. Three games can't be played at the same time anymore so this means the entire tournament is now delayed.

HLTV lagged out. The score went from 6-1 to just about 13-2 first half finished.

iM's computers crashed the entire match. One after another.. computer crashing. We also saw Kurandus lagging... at a lan event.

Update #6

MSI BEAT IT Organisers have reshuffled some matchups which now seems Australia Immunity pitted against the Korean team Korea WemadeFOX on de_tuscan

Excellent work beedee, just wondering what format the final is in? I don't think I'll be able to see any of the games unless the format is BO3.. And even then maybe only catch the 3rd map (if it goes to that!).

I'll edit the post to make it clearer, but those times listed are rounds from the group stage not actual matches itself meaning if Immunity are drawn into Group A, they will be playing from 14:30 to 17:30.

I'll do my best to record the HLTV saikyo because whenever I want a HLTV of a match they always end up corrupt or just deleted.

Everyone should record the HLTV matches they watch and upload.

Stream would probably only be for stage matches. I'll copy the HLTV IP's here before they go live and spam it on IRC.

62.
 04/09/10 08:14pm
gazr told me they are actually due to play WMF on tuscan next instead of EG. I'm guessing there's been reshuffles because WNV might have pulled out of the entire comp?
63.

72.
 04/09/10 10:00pm
ouch, so is it the computers/setup thats fucked? or are we just gettin pwned?
73.
 04/09/10 10:02pm
same setup for all teams (I assume) :O
74.
 04/09/10 10:10pm
Same setup, different pc issues? I don't think iM would kick up a fuss about "no right click" or mouseaccel if it weren't true.
75.
 04/09/10 10:14pm
That's true but why aren't other teams being affected, not switching PCs? If so that sucks :<
76.
 04/09/10 10:32pm
really cant see how a dodgy right click or not being able to disable mouseaccel is anyones fault but their own, but yeh dno, the pcs definitely seemed bad on the first game caus kurandus was lagging + dropouts etc, oh well bl i guess :/
77.
 04/09/10 10:58pm
lol @ A+E last round
78.
 04/09/10 10:59pm
sigh...

Well at least we beat the Indians.

de_Nuke: 9-6 to iM as CT's
then 7-1 as T's

Final score: 16-7 de_nuke

GO IM GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

81.
 04/09/10 11:45pm
big rounds from a few of iM players.. gaz + yam and kurandus ct performance

16-10 to EG (I think)

82.
 04/09/10 11:57pm
16-10 EG Win. EG romped iM.. considering iM won both pistols :S
83.
 05/09/10 12:35am
16-9 WnV win. Gazr tried to knife in pistol and they lost a 1v3... then they lost another 1v3.. :<

iM go home,..
84.
 05/09/10 12:39am
which pistol? I only caught the one where rize / yaman lost the 2v1 against T in pit :(
85.
 05/09/10 12:40am
was a 3v1 george. gazr died before them in pit with his knife out
86.
 05/09/10 01:37am
-- Team Immunity --
MVP: Kurandus

Stepped up in time in most matches and did extremely important 2-frag openers in many rounds. Also sports a great mullet.
87.
 05/09/10 04:05am
=< didnt see any other game besides the first due to delays, looks like they did fairly well with what preperation they had for this comp, hopefully the euro bootcamp prep gets them well prepared for WCG.

Terribly run tourny overall but yeah, bl iM with some of the losses.
88.
 kEZ
 05/09/10 11:43am
sounds like a pretty horribly run comp, just hope they got atleast some form of prac from it! whats goin on today with the finals? i cant see any upcomin games on hltv, are they even playing finals?
89.
 05/09/10 12:22pm
only top 2 from groups go through to the finals kez
90.
 kEZ
 05/09/10 12:57pm
"they" was referring to the competition not iM' :P lol
91.
 05/09/10 01:01pm
I thought they played pretty well against EG and ran out of juice against wnv, yam was awesome in every match I saw. Bl's all round though, should've been a good prac for them aside from all the problems they had. No more blogs/coverage? :<

Dud Group B...

Yeah dave I agree.

iM came 5th in Group A. At this rate, though, I'd expect them to come 3rd if they were in Group B
100.
 05/09/10 09:56pm
UMX didn't look too bad either, 16-12 against fnatic and 16-10 tyloo.
101.
 05/09/10 10:02pm
Ye I agree with dave tbh. Might have gotten more wins in Group B but top2 was pretty hard. Group A was a group of 5 semi decent-decent teams (easier than fnatic and tyloo imo)

EG wins :O
104.
 06/09/10 05:45pm
no fucking way.

damn eg!

105.
 06/09/10 06:46pm
EG played so fucking huge.

Fnatic were down 14-6 as CT's on de_nuke and came back to win in over time. Must watch demo. Some absolutely amazing 2v4's by fnatic.

Also I highly recommend everyone re-watch every demo twice. One with the POV set to n0thing, the other with POV set to froD.

Who is CONZ? froD > *

Also f0rest played, by far, his worst tournament of the past 12 months. If that kid was on fire it'd be a different story but you can't take away anything from EG. N0thing and froD did the most crazy... random... running around jumping frags ever. GG
