DiceNats - Queensland Qual 1

The registrations for the first Queensland qualifier for the Dice National Cup are finally open! The qualifiers are being ran by #QLDLAN, and will be held at EYLSIUM. The top Two teams will be awarded partial Autoberth payments based on signups to qualifiers and attendence to the National Final in Melbourne on the 22nd-24th January 2011.  All the information and details for registration can be found below.

Information

When: Sunday, 31st October 2010
Time: 10am start
Teams: Maximum 16
Where: Elysium Internet Cafe - Lvl 1, 279 Brunswick St, FORTITUDE VALLEY, QLD, 4006
Cost: $30 per player ($150 per team)
Format: Round-Robin or Groups (based on amount of teams)

In all fairness what's the point of having administration with the power of banning people if it is not going to be upheld. It has been upheld in the past with such cases as myself for dogging lan, so the fact that gonzo is allowed to play in this competition is a riot. What happened to equality? Where has it gone in this beautiful country we call Australia? Didn't any of you see Madeleine Madden on the tv last night talking about these exact issues? Whether it be Germans like myself or the Aboriginal community, we need equality.

I specifically recall Chris (GomeZ) talking to Peter Souvlis about Gonzo being banned from the next competition for lan dodging and then beautifully using me as an example and saying it is only fair. Just because Peter Souvlis has been in the lan community for a long time (too long) and has everyone on the edge of their seats with his antics time in time out doesn't mean he can manipulate the system.

Equality. That is all we want.


Edit: Secret sources tell me he has been unbanned because it has been "too long" I would just like to throw it out there that it was months before the next competition and then I was banned. Then I had to wait a long time again until I was allowed to play. Changing the rules for specific individuals should not be tolerated.
