My Turn! So we have managed to reach the penultimate round of cs games in the cybergamer 1.6 league regular season (with only one dogging). There are some interesting matches tonight with a big shit fight in store for 4th place. The map for the week is de_train as i have been told by Sommi. With not much known on how the overall standings will be calculated by the admins every round may prove to be critical for all teams with the possibility of a 3 way tie on the cards. For the spectators tonight Train should prove to be a notoriously momentum based map within Australia with those taking pistol and first gun runs normally running away with the half. With 7 of the 8 teams within the league still able to win the WHOLE damn comp tonight’s games cannot be missed.

Nordland vs Uprising
Ah the match of the round to start things off. This will defiantly be the best game to watch tonight. The match will be based on momentum and big plays made by the power fraggers on both teams. I don’t think iM allowed to comment strategically on Team Uprising in the fear i may be labelled as a dirty counter stratting meathead however after playing and watching extensively on LAN over the weekend we should see some rugged CT holds and some slow thought out T strats (based off MTW movement picks :P ). Whether or not these will work is another matter entirely as they were very hit or miss over the weekend. Nordland will try take, maintain and dominate momentum to try and capitalize on a quick and easy victory. The team which controls the lower bombsite will be the victors in most gun rounds and will force the opposing team to eco.
Prediction: Nordland with too much guts taking it out 16-10
Player(s) to watch: Blank, he may not be the best player in Nordland ( Ben0r ) or the best aimer ( coop ) but he just knows how to put up numbers.
What Uprising need to do to win: Sylix must get out of his slump and shut down one half of the map (which I hope he does) hopefully with some in10se awp frags too.
Archaic.au vs VHM
ArchaicMSI.au were quickly knocked out of the QLD Dice NATS qual during the weekend and im hoping they will be bounce back with avengence. The one saving grace for Archaic is that they absolutly dominated train on the weekend. Dave will without doubt call a vines pistol on t side and they will be well on their way to victory. One thing Dave truly understands is that the perfect strategy is when your opponent knows its coming but are unable to stop the Apocalypse. Dave will also be able to determine if a team is eco 100% of the time. IF VHM decide to turn up they will play the best CS known to man and win this game. They will run out of tcon, SL and vines with accidental precision and win every round available. But in all honesty this game is shaping up to be a dead rubber.
Player(s) to watch: Messi, after having a day of LAN which was not up to his high standards Dan will be out to make amense with 120 hertz support.
Prediction: vhm not to turn up :(
What VHM need to do to win: Turn up.
WuXiA vs Archaic.nz
Now this is the match which will shape who is the fourth team in the CyberGamer black league finals. This match consists of the best overal team in the competition playing the best team in the competition when they click. Archaic.nz and Wuxia should be matched for aim during the match tonight. However i strongly believe archaic.nz's strategies should win them plenty of rounds against a wuxia team not knowning what to expect let alone how to handle it. Archaic.nz will fake on the pistol and Wuxia will be worried about getting faked the rest of the game. Wuxia will need to litterally spontaneoulsy combust to win this game. Three players need to drop 20's and gomez needs to play and call game changing strategies.
Prediction: 16 - 7 Archaic.nz
Player To Watch: Evolution will make some movie shots
What WuXia need to do to win: Knyz needs to drop 20, Fizz needs to drop 20 and either Paul or Gomez needs to call some decent strategy.
Exile5 vs Pointclick
Ah my match, the rusty exile 5 playing the point click pug kings. This match will hopefully determine the leaders of the black league and will have the benefit or misfortune of having to play the fourth placed team. The biggest strength that pointclick have over x5 is their solidity in their lineup. x5 wont be able to pick on players and will have to find chinks in the teams armor. When x5 played Nordland their t-side was immense, controlling the game and should have closed the game out easily 16-3, but due to a poor ct setup they manged to draw with Nordland. This should be pleasing information for ferg who will hope to formulate an overal philosophy on how to win this game. Pointclick will prove a big test for X5 who have coasted through this tournament for weeks at a time.
Prediction: 16 - 12 eXile5
Player To Watch: Jakes, gtr clone and yes he does like boiz.
What Pointclick need to do to win: Ferg knows
Good Luck to everyone competing tonight and make sure everyone turns up on time. Thanks again for Wester Digital for sponsoring the competition and cybergamer for keeping the wesites out of black.
