The World Cyber Games (WCG) have come around again, this time with less games. As to how many games will be held at at this years WCG finals is uncertain, but the Counter-Strike is definitely on the menu.

Melbourne's Zone Adrenalan (ZAM) will play host to Victoria's first and only qualifier on June 13th & 14th. Two weeks from then, 27th & 28th of June, the WCG Finals will begin at Sydney's Olympic Park Stadium.

• Format: 16 team double elimination
• Time: 10am start
• Date: Saturday & Sunday, June 13th & 14th

With the way WCG has chosen to run the qualifiers this year, the Internet Cafe's selected to run the qualifiers will be responsible for organising travel arrangements on behalf of the autobirth teams. This means if there is a poor turnout, the Cafe runs it at a loss. With that in mind, Zone Adrenalan with DICE, have worked out the following payment system:
$25 per person if 14 or more attend
$30 per person for anything less

Rules that differ to regular competitions:

• No dead talk (or communication). You're deemed dead when the screen is completely faded to black.
• Overtime is mr3 10K.
• de_tuscan is in map rotation.
• Coach (if you have one) can only talk in freezetime.
• You cannot buy more than 1 smoke, 1 hegren, and 2 flashes in any given round.
• Any use of map bugs will be penalised.
• You can boost red rock / black rock on nuke.
