Black league has finally gotten around to finishing off the games for the season, with an inevitable tie coming between the winners of the game from Bestnless v Archaic.nz and Athletico, the finals were pushed back in hope of getting the game played out properly. Unfortunately Bestnless did not wish to play out the game when they were told that they could not make finals as Athletico had previously beaten them head-to-head.
Therefore we have a tie between Athletico and Archaic.NZ, which in the case of two teams, comes down to the head-to-head match up to decide the final placing. The two teams met back in the 5th round and unfortunately for Athletico, Archaic.NZ won the match with a pretty convincing scoreline of 16-1. Better luck next time Athletico.
Congratulations to Archaic.NZ on making the finals, they will be facing off against Mindfreak.RAZER whilst Exile 5 will be taking on third place finishers Archaic.AU over the following maps in the best of three format.

Teams have the option to reschedule their games to any time this week, at the latest, teams will be allowed to play at 7:00pm AEDT on Sunday 19th June. Teams need to contact eachother and an admin as soon as possible with their desired timeslot or make clear any issues they may have.

So we were under the impression admins followed there own rules as stated in CG that its a forfeit, we didnt play the 'rematch'
I don't know where you got this 'tie' from, perhaps you should have waited for an admin to say something before making up your own minds.
After this, we then tried to get you guys to reschedule again to play the game out but Bestnless were not interested. I PM'd several members of Bestnless throughout the week in hope of finding out what the decision was but no one would reply.
At the end of the day, it was a shit situation and I apologize to the teams involved for the delay, players need to wait for admins to make their decision instead of trying to make it up for them.
If that is the case then you've punished Athletico by not letting them get into finals just so you can punish us for leaving a minute early... I am sorry but sounds very silly to me.

BestNless leaves the server after waiting 20 minutes and 2 reschedules
An open-closed case to me if rules were followed to the T like they should be in 'sport'
I cannot say what would have happened but I can say that one of the two would have occurred if Bestnless just stayed in the server instead of leaving... How hard was it to just stay for an admins decision.
We tried to get you guys to play out the game, we even pushed back finals just for you guys. We did not punish Athletico, in fact we took every measure to try and get the game played out in order to reach a proper outcome but it came down to Bestnless's actions that stopped that from happening.
Had you stayed in the server for another minute for an admins response then perhaps something else may have occurred but you neither did that nor made an effort to reschedule another time.
Every admin was in a meeting after the game about what to do and we all concluded that we took the right course of action, there isn't any reason to continue arguing this as the decision has been made and won't be reversed no matter how you try to twist it.
Apologies for not being around - but if #12 is what happened - that's what you should have done.

The game was supposed to go live but Bestnless, operating under the assumption that a forfeit would be a finals spot for them had different ideas and also apparently had time constraints.
The first reschedule was issued by Archaic a day before the game was to be played (Monday 30th May), they said 'can we push it back to 9.30' which Bestnless said they couldn't do so they agreed to play on another date.
Bestnless then said that they could only play at 7:30 on Tuesday (7th of June i think) and Archaic agreed. Archaic just scraped in with 4 at 7:45 and the fiasco ensued.
When it was decided that neither team should be forfeited we took it out of both teams hands and told them to re-schedule and gave them a week to do so.
This is how things really happened. I will go and get the logs and screenshots from in-game if someone wants to dispute this.
We will also make a post on dice to get community input when the season draws closer.
Apologies for the mishaps of this season, we didn't have some things written down in the rules (which btw I don't blame the person who wrote them) as obviously you can't always think of everything and only become aware of something that needs defining when it comes up in practice.
We do understand the difficulties of admining sometimes hard decisions have to be made in process. I think CG will only continue to improve over the seasons and I think the admin have been doing well so far. Thanks for the season and definitely looking forward to the next.

The Archaic.NZ v Mindfreak game had to be pushed back a week as the players have exams and both teams agreed to delay.
We will still try to play out the grand-final game in the same week that the Archaic.NZ v Mindfreak game is played if everything goes smoothly...
I am sorry we couldnt field 5 on the second night but please read the following before you attack us:
Week one: I asked for a reschedule as many teams have done this season as I had basketball at this time. Your team decided that you could only play at 7:30. I then offered to delay the game to 8:00, proposing that i rush home so we can field 5. Your team declined, saying you could only play 7:30.
Your team then stated that you were unavailable to play any other time in the week.
Week two: After one week of me trying to contact your players and team around 6-8 times, you finally decided the only time you could play again was 7:30 on a Tuesday. Once again i had basketball and was annoyed at the fact you could only commit to 1 hour time frame in 1 whole week. I agreed anyways as i wanted the game to be played and arranged for two reserves to fill the spot.
Week 2 - I AM SORRY we did not have 5 in. Simcore had steam issues (extneral) and vandadium was geting kicked for EAC failure. I am not sure of the exact situation but i am told we had 4.
The game was then rescheduled for sunday in which all 5 of us, were on time, and were in the server. You didnt show up nor did you tell us you werent gonna show up. I once again tried to contact your team mutiple times (forums/steam/mirc).
I tried to contact your team multiple times and you were being very difficult. I have no sympathy for you, it was badluck that on the second week our players had external problems, but dont try make it out like were the bad guys.
