With Green league drawing to a close, we have just one final game to play out to decide who will go home with the major prize. Defending New Zealand we have Storm.cn, the asian powerhouse, and for Australia we have Turtles. Inc, who've also proved themselves worthy adversaries so far in the competition. Both teams dispensed of their Semi-Final opponents without much difficulty, Storm.cn beat MQR in two maps; 16-11, 16-3, whilst Turltes took down Apotheosis 16-9, 16-3.
So who will come out on top in the CyberGamer Amateur Green League Grand Final?
The two teams met way back in round 6, coincedentally on nuke, the first map to be played in the best of three final. Storm took out the match back then 16-6, will we see a repeat of these scores?
I'm expecting Storm to put on a good show strat-wise, the team rarely falls apart on Terrorist and also play a very dominant CT side, relying on their flashes and precise timing, they could easily come out on top with any one of their players capable of holding their lines. Turtles on the other hand are a team much more focused on out aiming their opponents, with players like enigma, songry and rpalmer at the helm they aren't short in that department and with a bit of luck, might be able to catch Storm off-gaurd with their aggressive pushes.
Good luck to everyone playing, I hope to see some great games with a full three maps played out, if it comes down to Tuscan it could be anyones game. The map rotation will be as follows:
- de_nuke
- de_inferno
- de_tuscan
Teams have the option to play their games anytime before 7:00PM AEDT Sunday 26th June. Teams need to contact eachother and an admin as soon as possible with their desired timeslot or any issues they may have.
