I thought it was a great article by Nix0n and I know a lot of you don't read HLTV.org regularly so I wanted to make everyone aware of the happenings of this weekend as there are a lot of great games coming up. If you'd like to watch any of the games, head over to HLTV.org for either the HLTV details or a stream link, whichever there may be.

Been such an awesome tournament so far,

There are two more quarter-final matches to be played, SK and ESC went through on a BYE.

mTw v Moscow 5 @ 8:00pm AEDT Tonight
Fnatic v NaVi @ 8:00pm AEDT Tonight as well

Winner of mTw v Moscow 5 will face ESC
Winner of Fnatic v NaVi will face SK

I'm predicting SK v NaVi semi, but I have no idea how mTw v M5 will play out since M5 have been in amazing form and have already toppled fnatic 16-7 and also drew with SK earlier... Should be an awesome game to watch.

Bracket can be found here:

21.
 20/06/11 04:07pm
Moscow5 > mTw 2.1 (16-12, 11-16, 16-10)
NaVi > fnatic 2.0 (16-11, 16-13)

Really expecting big things from moscow5 in this comp, i called theyd make top 4 before it started but it was moreso wishful thinking ><. I hope mirage is taken out of the rotation now so we can see the top teams battle it out on normal maps.

yeah mirage is only used in group stage.

maps are chosen funny for brackets though, it goes like this

flip a coin, winner is team1 loser is team2

they then both eliminate 1 map each (out loud)

then team1 picks a map, AND THE SIDE

(at this point, up until GG of map1, team1 and spectators have no idea what map2 will be).

then team2 picks a map, AND THE SIDE

(at this point the teams know what map3 will be (by process of elimination, but spectators have no clue, unless we witness the "veto" and tell everyone).

if it goes to a third map, they flip a coin again.
