Zone AdrenaLAN will hold it's own mini-league titled the ZAM 1.6 Masters.
To stimulate competition, ZAM will provide 2 hours free practice for teams pre-paying their registration. This is a good opportunity for teams wanting to fit in some serious practice leading up to the DICE Melbourne Qualifier #2 to be held on the 19th of July.
The competition will run in a similar format to Gamapalooza, where the qualifying teams are determined on their performance over both legs of the competition.
Leg One
Date: June 27th & 28th
Cost: $125 per team
Number of teams: 16 max
Registration is required by the Wednesday, 24th of June
Leg Two
Date: August 8th & 9th (weekend after DICE Nationals)
Cost: $125 per team
Number of teams: 16 max
Registration is required by Wednesday, 5th of August
ZAM 1.6 Masters - Finals
Date: August 16th
Top 6 teams + 2 wildcards are invited.
Cost: $free
Prize: Dependent on registrations minus administration costs. If there's a 16 team turnout for each qualifier, there will be upwards of $2,500 for the final 8 teams.
How do I register?
To register, teams can email melbourne@zoneadrenalan.com.au or phone ZAM themselves on 03 9600 0106
wow
say it out loud to yourself, does "he's" really sound correct in that sentence? FUCK
and #4 ted zams still being booked out? $500 per weekend afaik (although finals is only 1 day so probs half that)
-.-
zam still needs to make money from comps, regardless of whos running them, so its fair enough :D
it comes out of the rego fees as it always does, and yes it is a ZAM organised event, but they are covering their costs (as they always do, and rightfully so) by taking the lan hire money out of that rego money (same as what happens every single comp)
im sorry if i came off as being a dick or something in my wording because i clearly wasnt trying to be in the slightest, i was just informing you/mojo of the details :S
obviously ive offended you somehow so sorry for whatever i did
it comes out of the rego fees as it always does"
dw ted/dave im not offended :D
and ted, whats ur point in #23 i dont get it?
You are not paying to book the net cafe, you are paying to participate in a competition that has prizes. Rus will then split the money from rego to cover the cost of running the place, to giving you prizes. Yes and the idea is also profit for the business.
