Number of teams: 16 max
Registration is required by the Wednesday, 24th of June

Registrations for the first leg of ZAM Masters closes tonight.

With the current amount of signups, the first leg will become a one day (Sunday) event provided that there are 8 or less teams. When signing up however, you're commiting yourself to play the both days.

	if its a 7 team round robin wouldnt it need to run over the 2 days because i dont think zam have enough pc's to run that many games in 1 day from experience, but i could be wrong.

	yeh a round robin is easily done with 7 teams, just u'd probs only have time left for top 2 finals, not top 4 (and possibly only bo1 not bo3 too but a bo3 doesnt take too much longer than bo1 tbh)

	Would it be slightly possible for russ to open at 9 so we can have the first games live at 10am at the latest, then as the day goes on we can assess and determine how the rest of the day should go?

	id prefer groups tbh so u can actual play a proper semi final bo3 and grand final bo3 and if the teams wanted to play off for 3/4th. Bo1 and only playing top2 spots is pretty shit imo. You play the 1st group with 3 teams 1st so time catches up heaps since people rock up late and time to setup etc, 2nd group plays there games at like 12ish/1ish and top4 play after that. GroupA 1st vs GroupB 2nd bo3 - GroupA 2nd vs GroupB 1st bo3 etc etc etc. You find out the better teams and actually top4 placings way better that way instead of only top2 getting to play and playing 1 map..

	and dreamR - that wont happen at all. To save staying till 7-8pm groups is always the way.

	yeh doing groups might be better to find out the actual better teams more accurately, but it would mean u would shaft some teams in the 3-team group which is kinda bad. also in round robin everyone would play each other so it would _technically_ give a pretty accurate order/ranking just from those games, but yeh either/or i dont really care, i personally would prefer round robin though unless an even 8 teams are present! :D

	yes round robin guarantees heaps of games, but after that the grand final is 1 game and the whole thing is based on that. IMO it is more exciting seeing it go top4 teams (top 2 in each group) end up playing each other since they haven't played each other the whole comp and makes it more interesting with bo3. I'd much rather prefer groups :)
