ALIAS have confirmed they will not be attending the DICE National Cup in August.

The Queensland representative that went undefeated in the first Brisbane qualifier stated that they "just dont really want to go" and are not playing the game much, if at all, as either a team or even individuals. They say that the news of WCG's postponing and possible cancelation was a major cause of their recent lack of interest in the game and that they have all "lost any desire to play", and that this lack of desire would result in "wasted time and money" had they chosen to go to the first national scale DICE event.

This means that the Autoberth is now awarded to the runners up, Outplayed Rookies, and their original invite redistributed into Brisbane's 2nd qualifier as qlimax chose not to accept the trickled invite.

Forfeited autobirths and invites will trickle a total of one position. In the event that only one team accept the invite (or autobirth) at the 2nd qualifier, Queensland forfeits the remaining invites, meaning the decision will fall back to DICE Admins on how the remaining invites will be distributed.
