Vulcan300 (v300) eliminates GUTS in two to be crowned as the first DICE National Cup Champions.

The hybrid mix of talent from Victoria and New South Wales that is v300 emerged victorious as the first DICE National Cup champions without a loss to their name. The team of veterans never took their eyes off the prize coming into the finals on Sunday disposing all their opponents in two.

v300 took control of the first map in convincing fashion ending the first half 14-1 in their favour. Although GUTS were able win a force buy after losing pistol (15-1), their momentum was not nearly enough for a comeback victory that a certain individual would have loved to see.

With the first map in the bag, v300 shot off to another great lead with kram opening CT side pistol with 4 big frags. Both teams exchanged some close rounds before v300 came out slightly on top and won the first half 8-7.

On T side, v300 were simply too strong for GUTS, overwhelming them with well placed flashes and smokes, conceding only one round to win the map 16-8 and the tournament.
