Hi everyone,
Without posting my thankyou's everywhere, I'll just put everything here.
I'd just like post a quick thankyou to everyone who made this event a success. From the teams to the spectators, you guys were wonderful to hold an event for. I've received a lot of positive feedback, but we'd also like feedback on areas we can improve on too.
About no HLTV for semi finals and finals
This came down to a miscommunication between myself and the tech staff at B1GLeague. In the previous season of B1GLeague, we ran into a series of technical difficulties stemming from no, or limited internet access - remember, it was held at a University! To cut a long story short, the RMIT University opened the ports for us to connect out, but not in, and because it was over the weekend, no technical staff were available :(

What next?
Well when we purchased the DICE National Cup "Cup", our intention was to use it as a perpetual cup. This essentially means we have intentions of continuing the event in 2010 and onwards, however nothing is final until a formal announcement is made. During that time, we'll pool our resources back to finishing this site and keeping coverage flowing for other events, competitions and ladders.
Special mentions
As much as you think I put this together, it wouldn't have been possible without the help of B1GLeague and the DICE guys. I'll outline their involvement during this time. Make sure you thank them too :)
woodz & crew - the man that convinced us to take up the 1.6 leg of AINC. From the moment after the announcement was leaked, Michael started making calls to save the competition. For those who came down to watch the games live at the RMIT TV studio, you would have witnessed the hardwork woodz and his team have put in whome are all volunteers. If eSports would ever to go B1G in Australia, you can count that he had a hand in it.
davestr1zl - the sponge of counter-strike. It's incredible to see what a fountain of knowledge he's become. Dave did the draws, procedures and the 14 page ruleset which went off without a hitch. He's also always on the lookout to see if the rules have been followed correctly, and tries to ensure all teams are treated fairly by the rules.
peki - always happy to help and challenged almost everything dave said which was fantastic in helping me see two sides of the situation. Peki also acted as the point of contact for a lot of the teams prior to coming to the national event, keeping them and myself updated.
burbz/skills/coma - helped and fixed all the graphical and technical issues we had. The now easy to understand frontpage was the labour of their threesome love. These three worked on a short deadline to bring the reskinned homepage out in time for the DICE National Cup.
MidCity - flawless PC's. One of the reasons why this nationals ran so smooth and on time was because there were no PC issues. Thank you MidCity!

To those who I've left out, and there's quite a few, it's only because I suck at writing and couldn't put your actions into words.
On behalf of DICE, B1GLeague and MidCity, we'd like to thank all the teams for attending and congratulate the winners v300!
we, the community should also thank beedee for his passion to keep counter-strike 1.6 going.
Also thanks to kordial from smasht for taking pictures for us on the Saturday!
