The WCG 2009 Australian finals in Sydney held on October 10th-11th will see 10 of Australia's best teams compete for the coveted chance to represent Australia in the WCG World Finals in Chengdu China.

The Counter-Strike tournament will start off with a group stages, where two groups will be composed of five teams each. The top two from each group will then advance onto the next day into a best-of-three (BO3) single elimination tournament.
