ESWC have released an official statement confirming it's return to the world of E-Sports with a 2010 event which will feature 32 countries and offer $200,000 in prize money.

Games featured at ESWC 2010 will again be Counter-Strike 1.6, Warcraft III: FT & FIFA among others. It is said on the statement that qualifications will begin January and the organisers are hoping to gather teams from 32 different countries for the finals held at Disneyland in Paris.

An Australian qualifier is uncertain at this point in time, but we've emailed to find out.
