Australian World Cyber Games (WCG) regional qualifiers looks like it will go ahead after CBN posted a press release earlier this month announcing they will continue to work with Samsung to run WCG - marking CBN Media's fourth consecutive year as WCG organisers.
After navigating our way through the GFC, CBN Media is raring to go in 2010, with lots happening.
As well as more television programmes and keeping you up to date with the latest technology on www.cybershack.com.au and www.charliesblog.com.au, we'll be looking at more appearances on Channel 9's Today Show; working with Samsung on the World Cyber Games; as well as Charlie continuing his spot on 2UE on Thursday mid mornings.
Also look out for both Charlie's blog and the Cybershack websites being reskinned with all-new, contemporary looks - a new start for a new decade!

2010 also marks WCG's 10 year anniversary which will be celebrated in Los Angeles, California where the finals will be held this year.
"After taking into careful consideration the many factors involved with selecting the host city, the World Cyber Games Committee came to a clear decision with Los Angeles.
San Francisco and Seattle were extremely successful events and we look forward to returning to the United States for our 10-year anniversary."
Titles for WCG 2010 however have not been announced, but it's expected to feature Counter-Strike 1.6.

(although hopefully it can be ran at a decent venue this time :P )
#2 You're right CBN have not confirmed the event, but have confirmed their interest which is how the title was derived. It's the best news to come out for aus 1.6 and gives people something to look forward to.
