The King of Aim; as this competition has been formally introduced is a 32 player Aim_Map only competition brought to you by our friends at CyberGamer. Their goal: to find the 1 person who outlasts, outfrags and outplays the rest of the competition.

Information for this online competition has been set. The date it will be held is on Sunday, 7th of March, 2010.

It will start at approximately 2pm east-coast time and will finish when all the games are completed. No time estimations can really be said as we don't know what kind of delays there will be, how long all the games will go for and if 32 people even sign up.

The entry is free and the format is single elimination, first to 20 (10 rounds on each side) where sides will be determined by knife round.

Even though this IS a competition, there will be no prizes for it; purely making it a fun-based competition for everyone to enjoy!

Competition Rules

  • Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) will be used.
  • You are required to be in #1v1comp on mIRC to receive your IP/PW for the competition.
  • Once you join the server, you will have 5 minutes warm-up before the match is force lived.
  • Any later then 15minutes to your game will result in an instant forfeit and a removal from the competition.
  • Cheating will result in a permanent ban from all CyberGamer events/ladders in the future.
  • Sides will be determined by knife round.
  • The first player to reach 20 rounds will be the winner.
  • If the game comes to an overtime decision it will be played to the same normal rule that an mr15 game is played which is an mr3 first to 4 rounds.
  • The map being used will be the aim_map_2009 version that was used at the DICEVIP 1v1 competition. A link for this version of the map can be found here: http://www.dicevip.com/files/mapstools/view/25
  • Rates will be forced at: rate 25000, cl_cmdrate 101 and cl_updaterate 101.

The competition will be stiff, but a champion will rise from the ashes and can claim themselves as "The King of Aim" after this competition is over. Let the games begin!
